Fresno County Jail is a rough place to be, especially on the weekends. If you find yourself incarnated there, be prepared in advance by having some services lined up to help you. With a little bit of your own research and foresight, you can save yourself a lot of trouble.

Bail Bonds:
Finding a good bail bond in advance of being incarcerated puts you light years ahead of the average person. Most people wait until the inevitable happens before even learning how a bail bond works. Bail bonds put up your bail amount so you can be released from the jail pending your trial or sentence. You can find plenty of bail bonds in the Fresno area, especially around the jail itself. The best place to check out is online or the local phone book. Build a list of bail bonds and call them in advance. Get them to walk you through the procedure.

Attorney:
A lot of us can't afford an attorney and get stuck with a public defender. It's not the public defender is a bad person but just has a massive case load. This makes them want to "process" you as quickly as possible and sometimes they may not have your best interests in hand. It's worth every penny when you hire a lawyer that is invested in helping you and not the system. Check your local phone book and be sure to check online as well. Make sure your attorney specializes in criminal justice and is familiar with the Fresno County Jail. This is important as your lawyer will know exactly what steps to take when you are arrested and may even know the judge which never hurts.

When being arrested, please remember to keep quiet until you have a lawyer. Don't ever  argue with the arresting officer as it will never work out in your favor. Be polite as to not make the officer take it out on you when it comes to the booking process. By following these tips, you should save yourself a few hours in the booking process and make a terrible predicament less painful.
